Midview shut out Amherst April 19 in a rain-shortened game by a score of 5-0. The game was initially called for 30 minutes due to lightning in the bottom of the fifth inning but the score was ruled final when heavy rains moved in. The Comets had no answer for Midview pitcher Lauren Landers, who pitched the entire five innings.
