Is that pesky desktop or laptop acting up again?

Help is just a phone call away.

Comet Computing is run by Steele High School students learning about hardware repair, operating systems, digital security, programming, and more.

To reach them with your high-tech emergencies, call (440) 2182037 between 7:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Teacher Joseph Todd has turned his technology class into a full-fledged business, readying his students for high-paying, high-demand computing jobs. As of January, the class runs the full length of the school day (it had previously been open only one or two periods each day).

To learn more about how Comet Computing works to both help the community and prepare students, read the Feb. 15, 2012 print edition of the Amherst News-Times!
